Building a better planet
We build software where the stakes are privacy, precision, and trust.
The Fantastic Planet builds the compute layer underneath AI and simulation — numerical kernels, inference runtimes, ternary silicon — and ships products on top of it.
Flagship
vera·you keeps a verifiable record of your own life.
A companion that listens to your life and keeps a record of it. Encrypted on device before it reaches us. We operate the infrastructure; we cannot read the contents.
Built for the moments where memory is contested — a conversation you’re told didn’t happen that way, a pattern that only becomes visible across months. It is the first product we have taken from architecture to production.
How vera·you works
The record is yours before it is ever ours.
Four steps, in order. Encryption happens first, on the device, so every step after it is operating on ciphertext — including ours.
- 01 It listens Conversations and voice memos, captured on your device with a single tap. on device
- 02 It encrypts Keys derive from your password, on the device, before anything leaves it. end-to-end
- 03 We store ciphertext Isolated cloud project, single region, no third-party analytics touching content. we hold nothing readable
- 04 You see the pattern Transcripts, search, and patterns that only become visible across weeks and months. decrypted on your device
The company · four arms
Stated separately, rather than blended.
The services arm funds the product arm. That is the whole shape of the company, and it is why one entity carries several unrelated-looking things.
About
We are an operating company, not a studio.
Two lines of work support each other. The first is commercial delivery for institutional clients, principally Financial Times executive events. The second is software: numerical kernels, inference infrastructure, hardware prototyping, and the products built on them.
We build from the bottom. Most of what we ship rests on kernels we wrote ourselves — which is why our inference paths run where other people’s don’t, and why we can make performance guarantees instead of hoping a dependency behaves. vera·you is end-to-end encrypted because the key custody was designed first and the features after.

Work
We make technical work visible, and we write the numerics underneath it.
The same practice that builds a cloth solver builds the kernels the solver runs on. That is why the products and the client work are one company rather than two.

Trust & infrastructure
Privacy by design, not by policy.
Every sentence here has to be literally true. The same document serves the data room and any cloud architecture review.
- Where data lives
- Google Cloud, isolated project, single region, defined network posture.
- What we can see
- Ciphertext only. Keys derive from the user’s password, on the device.
- Key custody
- Recovery phrase model. If it is lost, we cannot help — by construction.
- Legal process
- A named owner for subpoenas and preservation orders, and a plain statement of what we can produce.
- Retention & deletion
- Export format, deletion guarantee, and the timeline for both.
- Subprocessors
- Full list, kept current, with incident-notification commitments.
